CAD design & 3D modelling

All UMP products are designed in 3D CAD before any tooling is committed eliminating the most expensive source of manufacturing error: the assumption that a design that looks right in 2D will assemble correctly in 3D.

Prototyping & development testing

Every new development goes through a structured prototype and test phase. Our in-house 3D printing lets us produce prototype geometries rapidly and cheaply, enabling multiple iterations before committing to production tooling
  • Functional prototypes — 3D-printed or machined for dimensional and functional verification

  • Material sample panels — cast PU in the specified formulation for client approval and abrasion testing

  • Accelerated wear testing — DIN 53516 / ASTM D5963 to quantify wear rate and project service life

  • On-site trial installations — monitored evaluation in the client’s operating environment
